Be aware: The user by the name of ShoOTer (who seems to be in this group, either presently or at one point in time) attempted to give me a trojan virus through claims of free steam games. The link was something like freegames-offer, so for anybody who actually reads these comments and doesn't have a good virus detecting software, now you know.

damnit troubleshooting guide says i need direct x 9 but idk wheres a safe place to download it? softwarepatch.com is the top google result.. is it safe?
