You don't win the race in the first corner

This group is for Automobilista 2 sim racers, particularly those who wish to race online but who aren't particularly experienced or skilled. Hopefully we can help each other improve and have a lot of fun whilst doing so.

The 'young' in the group name refers to online sim racing experience or skill level, and has nothing to do with our actual age. Old rabbits are welcome too of course, as long as they don't laugh too loudly at us ;-)

Racers who like to play demolition derby are in the wrong place. Go play Flatout or Gas Guzzlers Extreme instead.

Kill the group?

Should we kill this group or try to revitalise it? Or just leave it on life support?

The original idea of the group was for intermediates and beginners to race together and help each other learn and improve, but we never gained enough members to really make that work.

I used to set up 'young rabbits' mp lobbies very regularly, but an eight week period with no VR headset interrupted that towards the end of last year, and since then I've only set up occasional lobbies. I have never come across a YR lobby set up by anyone else.

Thoughts?

PS: For those in the UK, I recommend joining the "Automobilista 2 UK Race Series" group, set up by a very nice guy who used to race superkarts in real life.

Yes, the open lobbies can be tiresome sometimes. Myself and Broomer had a clean race last night, but I suppose that's not too difficult when there's only two cars and one of you (me) is 0.25 seconds per lap slower. ;-) Hopefully we can get decent numbers in the group, which will lead to busier sessions.
