This group serves as a space for members of the Make a Steam Wish thread to hang out, find games to play together, and grant each other's wishes. Have fun, and make sure to follow the guidelines described in the original post in this group's forums and chat.

Minecraft Server Technical Test

Hello everyone ^w^

After a few months of delays, the Make a Steam Wish Minecraft server will be online for a limited-time test of its hosting infrastructure until 2026-01-04 @ 9:00 PM EST. Please let me know if things work smoothly or not, and do try to break things the best you can. I've set the default gamemode to Creative for this session as well, and I'm excited to see what kinds of builds this community creates over the next week.

Server Name: Make a Steam Wish SMP
Server Address: mc.cerisu.com
Version: Java Edition 1.21.10

To be added to the server whitelist, please comment underneath this post with your Minecraft: Java Edition username. (note that a valid copy of the game is required) No action is required if you've already registered for the server via the previous announcement post.

Make a Steam Wish is giving away copies of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Katamari Damacy: REROLL, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Gurumin, Balatro, Deep Rock Galactic and FINAL FANTASY VII (1997) via SteamGifts for its third anniversary, until 2025-12-25 @ 2:00 PM UTC. Thank you to everyone who signed up for NoSecretSanta through this thread as well. Registration for the event is closed for now, but hopefully we'll get to collaborate with them again in 2026 if all goes smoothly.
