This ain't chicken noodle.

Warsoup is an RTS/FPS hybrid currently in development by Moon Studios. Think of it like a combination between Starcraft and Halo, where Starcraft is your macro and Halo is your micro (their words).

In its current build, players choose from various classes to play, and attempt to take resource points located on the map. These resource points can be used to build structures and upgrade players / existing structures, with the goal being to destroy all of an opponent's structures.

The game favors a simplistic visual style over highly detailed environments to allow players to distinguish buildings and enemies with ease, while still maintaining a highly polished look. It implements an RTS-style minimap to allow players to judge their team's strategic position. It also implements the Uplink, which gives players the benefit of being able to see what another player on the team is seeing (think built-in screen-looking).

It is looking very polished and quite fun from just the introductory video, and we all hope to see it through to its release.
