Welcome to the Venus Project!

The Reign of Kings server is being unwhitelisted for 72 hours to promote the server due to a drop in players and also to advertise the new rules of which we're implementing regarding Roleplay. There will be several rules which ensure the enjoyment of the game for all players and bring a significant decrease in trollish behaviour and pointless raiding.

THESE RULES ARE IN EFFECT AS OF IMMEDIATELY AND THE SERVER WILL BE RE-WHITELISTED IN 72 HOURS - The server MAY be wiped at the end of the 24 hours to prevent any hacked in items being transferred over to the

All players will be expected to apply for whitelisting - if you were Whitelisted before, you WILL still be whitelisted and you will not need to re-apply for whitelisting.

These rules are going to be explained below:

General Rules
1. No Trolling
2. No Glitching
3. No Hacking
4. No Advertising External Sites/Servers unless permitted
5. No Hate/Vile/Racist or Obscene Comments or Speech

KoS Engagement (Kill on Sight)
- You are not to kill players on sight unless your reasoning meet one of the below criteria
1. Declaration of war/hostility has been declared
2. The player is stalking or harassing the attacking individual
3. The player is within the boundaries of the crest protected region owned by the attacker.
4. The person being killed or attacked is blocking your route to the throne or is a part of the monarchy.

Crest Protection
- Players are expected not to destroy any crests, unless your reasoning meets one of the below criteria.
1. The crest is on the bridge or within the throne area.
Node/Resource Protection
- Players are NOT to enclose any of the following nodes inside a crest or wall perimeter, if a player is found enclosing any of the following resources then their fortification shall be removed without warning and will not be refunded.
1. Iron Node
2. Rocks
3. Water
4. Clay
5. Dirt
6. Oil

Note to players:
These rules are very minimal however will be enforced very strictly to ensure the enjoyment for all players.

Breaking the Rules will result in:

- Warning or Jail time depending on offence.
- Followed by a 1 - 7 Day Ban.
- Jail time with Jury's decision of Permanent Ban.
- Followed by a Permanent Ban.
