Vanir-Gaming: Community

Hello everyone and welcome to the official Vanir-Gaming steam group. Vanir-Gaming is a fairly new community but is striving to become a large scale, high quality, successful community and we need everyone's help.

Currently we are running servers on 3 different games, Garry's Mod, Minecraft, and World of Warcraft, however we plan to expand to more games in the near future. We have 3 Garry's Mod Servers, 2 TTT servers and 1 Deathrun, both of which we are still looking for staff for so if you are interested head over to our forums. Our Minecraft server is a Towny based PvP server with many custom features that highten your gameplay experience by tenfolds. If you would like to check it out, again head to our website and go to the Minecraft section and it will tell you whatever you want to know. The World of Warcraft server we run is not currently aivailable to the public but will soon be. That project is going to take some time, however we will keep you all updated via Steam Group and forums so if you are interested just go to the appropriate forums.

Some brief information about our community that you should probably know would be who our main staff is. While many large community's you could easily go without seeing the owner or head staff at all, we find that it is important for everyone to know who the main staff is. Our owner goes by usually two names, on the forums he is known as faenisara but on steam he goes by [VG] Tony. He is usually around and I am sure most of you will talk to him in-game. Our Co-Owner goes by usually one name, that being Consequences. Consequences is usually very active as well and he plays on all of our servers. We could go into all the sub staff as well but really those are the only two you should know when being a part of this community. You can also go check on the forums, the ranks of members and you can see all the others staff if you would like.

That is really all we can say about Vanir, but if you are interested in becoming more active with Vanir-Gaming head over to our forums, play our servers, and join our teamspeak.

[DR Update] Upcoming Expectations for Deathrun

Hello Vanir-Gamers, I am proud to announce that Vanir-Gaming's Deathrun server will be providing players with a fully functioning and well designed Pointshop System. Some of you may have seen the Pointshop Menu already but expect to see a huge variety of models, hats, and trails when we officially release it. Currently the Pointshop is in however we have set it so that you do not gain any points yet, however upon our release it will be set so that the winning team survivors get X amount of credits. So just keep playing and you will see your credits build up like crazy, oh and we will also reward active players manually, so if an admin see's that you are playing frequently and are a positive addition to our servers don't think you won't be rewarded. Lastly I would like to say that we will be rewarding players who donate to the server with Pointshop Credits, it's just a little something we feel we should give back to you for donating.
