HGN provides a general gaming community for the University of Washington in Seattle. We have weekly, unique events in which we celebrate the gamer in whatever capacity and background they come in. This includes board games, card games, console games, and PC games. We invite all gamers to come play their favorite games, meet like-minded individuals, share their gaming tales, and develop unique gaming experiences with us. Spring Quarter Week 3 Newsletter

Greetings Friends!
Last week’s creative night with Minecraft at UW went really well with playthroughs of Kerbal Space Program and Terraria going on throughout the night as well as quite a few breakout groups that started some servers on their own.

This week we will be having another event focusing on women in gaming by having some of our regular female attendees play their favorite games and other games focusing on strong female protagonists, such as Dragon Age, and Portal along with the always fun filled playthough of alien isolation that we started a few weeks ago. Remember every 10$ donated to the club is another hour of cuddling with deadly aliens. This week we’ll be in the Maple Great room and the event will run from 6-11pm.

Looking ahead to next week we have an open world night planned and it’s going to be a good one. Also out in the distance we have some more competitive nights coming up so stay tuned for more news on that too.
