Here's the story if you haven't read it

A very long time ago, there was a god, and this god.. He created havoc. He created the biggest disasters man could've imagined. The world of terraria was in peace, all these years and then, a meteorite. It came down on the townhall of Eplix, Eplix was the capital city of Terraria, once this had happened, people started running around in fear, inspecting the meteorite and some running away to their houses. The city was burning down, and then.. A rumbling noise, explosions, fire! The meteorite cracked open, thousand of little devils came crawling out of it, some flying, spitting out lava at those that were running. Killing and ripping apart innocent people. Most of the people were killed, some people were spared, and some managed to escape.. They all gathered at the eastern sea, and created their camp there. The devils had made a border, in the earth. Towards hell. Everyday more and more creatures came crawling out of that hole. And the god, couldn't do anything. He was captured by the god of havoc, Sadix. The earth was split into two cults. The Havoc and the Elite. The Elite were the once that managed to escape from the disaster, and the havoc.. The Havoc were unknown creatures from up above and down below. They only had one goal, to destroy man kind. And the Elite also had a goal, to save Pronox, the god of light. The god that had caused it all, because he was the only one that could save them all..
