Ultimate Battles — the multigaming network

Ultimate Battles was a gaming network which was controlling servers in CnC, CS2D, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Garry's Mod, Minecraft, Team Fortress 2 and also had a Discord server and a forum for gamers. In mid-2022, after more than four years since the initial launch, the project was shut down.

Ultimate Battles is about to be closed

Hi guys,

After more than 4 years since this project launched, I decided to close it. The reason is pretty simple, hosting providers raised their prices and like I said way-way in before I don't plan to continue this project if it will cost me a lot. This is why I'm not renewing the servers.

Moreover I plan to move to another city and rent a flat there so I'll have to count every cent on my bank account.

One thing I wanted to do before closing is to launch another CS2D server, which would run Zombie Mode, it will be launched really soon and I'll do another announcement about it. And also I plan to renew the domain and the website hosting as long as here are some users of @ultimatebattles.club emails addresses, but I am again alerting them not to link anything super important to their inboxes.

Thanks for playing folks, I hope you liked the servers, unfortunately I did not play them a lot nowadays, but hey, they were good or at least not bad. I honestly do not want to do a large post with remembering all old good (and bad) stuff, so that's it. 💖

I do not plan to implement this plugin right now, as I try to keep the server more classic than a platform for getting an unusual gaming experience. Yes, we use community maps obtained through the Steam Workshop and some plugins that affect the course of the game (for example, non-standard weapons for bots), but I think that this is enough in this direction, as minimum for now.

Also, sorry for delayed answer. Ultimate Battles is not my source of income, it's a hobby. This also means that some updates may appear in slow motion due to the fact that I am also busy in real life. But, along with many who are here, I hope that the biggest update in the history of the project will be released soon. Most likely, it will be a series of several updates lasting over a month. I am not saying that I will add that RTD plugin in the course of it, as well as the opposite.
