The official group for Pokémon Type: Wild!

Welcome to Pokémon Type: Wild, a 2D fighting game made in Japanese by Pokesho in 2008, partially translated by PRIZZA/OneWeakness, and fully translated by longbyte1 for the English-speaking audience.

Here you can coordinate online matches, post tutorials, make montages, and find other people who also play Type Wild.

Multiplayer
LilithPort/MTSP (the prepackaged one)
Vick_ has been hosting an MTSP lobby/server for a while now, initially for Vanguard Princess, but he is allowing Type Wild players to use the lobby as well.

Choose "Client" or "Host" (if you're port forwarded) in the main menu.
IP: alavanguard.ddns.net (check the "DNS" checkbox if using MTSP)

This lobby is not 24/7; server is usually down between 03:00 and 09:00 in UTC. I'm working on a dedicated server, sorry for the small downtime every day.

Having trouble with MTSP?

That's because the new translated version uses FM2015, which fails the file description check done by MTSP, meaning they're "incompatible" with each other.

To fix this, just download the older FM2K executable and remember to rename it so that it has the same name as the .kgt file:

Hey, I was kicking around looking stuff up on an old favorite fangame of mine (you know, this one), and happened upon this group. Does the online multiplayer stuff still work? If so, I'd love to recommend this game to my friends.

So, I'm revisiting the MTSP servers right now, and it turns out that the the original Vanguard Princess servers (where we can also run Pokémon Type:Wild) are now 24/7.
