“There Will Be Brawl” is a non-profit web series designed as a dark, dramatic parody of the popular Super Smash Bros. Brawl video game for the Nintendo Wii. The Creators of the project are avid fans of Nintendo, and this series has been developed as an homage to the colorful characters of SSBB that we all know and love. Through the hard work of a talented cast and crew, and the support of our fans, we hope to continue to produce a story you will all enjoy.

Look for future episodes to premiere at The Escapist on the Final Friday of every month!

This is for nominating individuals involved in the series (Best Director, Actor, Actress, Writing, etc)

We're mainly trying to nomainate the series for Best Drama (not comedy), Matt and Zack for best Writers and Directors for a Drama, and the series again for best Ensemble Cast. There are other possible nomination categories to go with so feel free to nominate any actors/actrsses you may feel is best, ect.

If you are unfamiliar with what a streamy is, they are awards which "recognize[s] outstanding achievement for shows produced originally for broadband distribution". They're like awards for popular web shows.

Let's give the creators, cast, and crew recognition they deserve and nominate TWBB for the streamies. Currently, public nominations are not open, and we're not exactly sure when they do open, but I would guess that they should open areound mid-Decenber, same time last year. So right now, we're just trying to spread the word. So spread the word!

Brawl Tourney

EDIT: Matchups have started. Bracket is full.

So here's what goin on. Over at the froums, we're starting up another tourney for Brawl. The last one we had was a while ago, ending sometime in April. But with a surge of new members, and a return of some old, it seems like a good time to hold another one.

We currently have 11 people entered in the tourney and we are looking to try and have another 5 participate. If we can't fill up a perfect 8, the we'll probably have to cut it at 4 and work something out.
