We now have an established settlement on North Vynn, check the world map for our current location.

It is suggested that players train first on the starter island, but the trees in our area can be cut by new players, that said many of the enemies and mines will not be accessable until later gathering levels. The island we are located on has little to no herbs on it, thankfully they are light and can be imported in large numbers.

Regarding Dawntide's Content Situation

The current issue with Dawntide is that there really isn't much to do beyond build a really big fort and go "ooo what a cool fort". (Minecraft does a better job of that) I suppose if /v/ was bigger on RPing we could simulate our own town but the fact is that not much of /v/ likes to RP. Maybe when Dawntide gets more players and fighting over resources is actually desirable, this game will be more fun.

Right now I think the few of us left are just really.... bored. We don't have much to do other than run around exploring. I'll keep playing and helping out making buildings if you'd like to give Dawntide another try or are still with us, and I thank you for doing so. But obviously I don't blame those of you who have decided Dawntide is not for you in this stage of the game's development.

I would appreciate it if people do find other games similar to dawntide if they would be willing to contact me. I love to start groups up for /v/ and generate support and get a bunch of bros interested in a game so we can have fun.

Thanks to all of you who participated in our village project and those of you who will continue to do so. I hope you enjoyed/will enjoy the experience.
