If you plan to buy from other Sellers please read this, as I want you to be safe no matter what.

I always emphasis the benefits of doing a background check, it really doesn't take long. A simple steamrep.com search of their steam id and a simple google search of the steam id could come up with so information about the person your trading with. It is always good to note that if you don't feel safe trading with the person then don't do it.

When people tell me they have seen people selling their pins for cheaper I always mention that the person they saw was most likely a scammer or has very poor rep, due to that he has to have a lower price. Almost everyone I have sold pins to is willing to pay extra to buy from me because they know who I am, and that I would be safe to buy from.

Pictures of their reddit name/steam id is not the greatest way to figure out if they are a scammer as it's so easy to photoshop it. I would also recommend doing an image search of the picture they have linked you. Ask them if they have posted on any other websites. If websites they didn't say they posted on show up with the image used on there then either they are a scammer reusing an image or someones reusing their image.

Some steps I do before buying/trading with someone:

- Search them on www.steamrep.com

- Check their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ by clicking the link on steamrep

- google their steam64 id

- Check their profile, got any mutual friends? High steam level? Lots of hours played? etc

- Use your brain. If the price is too good to be true there is usually a reason why.
