Training.tf Gremlins Resolved, Aussie Servers Half Moved to Better Home, Airway Giveaway on eXtv with 20 Keys!

After some regional difficulties over the weekend, training.tf's main page is back up and running. If you are still experiencing difficulties, leave a comment and we'll get the sonic back out of our coat pocket (it's bigger on the inside) and fix it up.

Our Aussie servers are halfway through their move to a host much better suited for gamers. One server is up, the second will join it within 24 hours. Remember to update your favourites. The two new servers are aus03.training.tf ({链接已删除}connect) and aus04.training.tf. To quote awk "01 and 02 are nothing. less than nothing. they are dead to me like they never existed". Shout-out to our new aussie server provider Binary Lane who also host the Aussie Arena: Respawn server. We didn't even have to borrow a mates ute and pay them in beer.

The guys at eXtv will be putting up a vlog to announce the first Airway Giveaway competition, and when the competition closes. Winners will be drawn by eXtine on the Airway Giveaway results episode - there are 20 keys up for grabs. Entry is simple, put in a decent play session on one of our planetary network of Airway Training Wheels servers, and be a member of this steam group before the competition closes.

Get on the server, play our new gamemode, never leave. Through a process of iterative design, almost irritating debate, nuanced insight, just a bunch of other excellent adjectives - and a lot of playtesting we present by far the single best gamemode we've designed so far.

Yes, you'll want to play it online, but where it will really shine is at an eXtv LAN comp.

TL:DR: chained clutch play - the gamemode.

Really - play it. Really.

Our new player of the week is BrannMolvik(Norway) - for scoring 3,074 headshots in the last 7 days of play. 2,732 of those scored in the last 24 hours. As a Finnish citizen the choice of a fellow Scandinavian, a Norwegian was totally biased. Congratulations mate - I know first hand that training anything more than 500 headshots in a day pays off immediately when you go back to your favourite PVP servers. Take pity on his untrained victims!
