Welcome to the steampage of the Dayz SA Expansion server

Dear beloved current and former ITTS players

Im very happy to announce an other server status update as there is so much to tell and share with you guys. I'll try to keep it short but as you all should know by now i find that very hard ;)

1. Player counts:
We currently have over 2500+ characters on the server and only had to ban 3 people so far.
The last 3 days we managed to get 35+ players on the server at the same time and so im very proud to say we seem to be growing very fast now. We noticed more and more action around the map, more people chatting and talking (keep it civilized please :P) so more is happening and more will happen in the near future.

2. Prison Island
The prison island trader has been removed and the island is now a full PVP zone with militairy tents, barracks. High risk area means high rewards ;)

3. More ITTS gear
Theres been allot of new ITTS gear added to the server. New backpacks, clothing and even guns are coming in the near future. Also we have new billboards and a new loadingscreen picture. All fun and all ITTS ;)

4. Changed server
4 weeks ago we moved our old server to our current new server with the IP: 54.37.88.3:2302
This server is a root server and uses the program CFTOOLS. This means that literally every modupdate will happen automatically and does not have to be done manually by us. As the modupdates for us mostly came on the wrong moments we are very happy its now being done for us. Its good and stable (for a dayz server offcourse)

5. Admins & way of adminning
Over the last few months the admin team have been working really hard on helping out the player base with basicly every problem that occured. We had a little chat and decided to change the way of adminning a little bit. Dayz is still dayz afterall and bug or flaws will always happen. Cars that break due hitting a rock or a wall, bugged guns or after a codelock update the codelock being reset. We will no longer assist in any of these matters. What we like to achieve is to feel and breathe our players the true Dayz Experience with a fully modded server. And losing a car due to a lagspike or hitting a wall, finding guns you can shoot as the magazine is bugged, Dying to random sickness that should be cureable but clearly isnt etc is the true Dayz Experience. To make it bareable we upped the loot allot so its easy to get it all back quickly but you need to know what Dayz truelly is. A great but very buggy game filled with flaws and errors ;)

6. Rule 'natural way' of raiding
As it turns out there been some questions about what we mean by 'natural way' of gaining access to a base. Therefor i decided to type it out for ya. I take my childhood experiences as the redline through this.

- By using your friends to boost over a wall (when i was young i used my friends shoulders if i needed to get over a wall or fence => a natural way)

- By using the car to boost over a wall (when i was young i used my bike to climb over a wall or fence if i was alone. As we do not have a bike in this game a car takes its place => a natural way)

- Using an ingame bench, trashcan or barrel or any other 'stock' part of the map to climb/jump over a wall or fence => a natural way

- Using a crowbar and discover a flaw in the build fence. The walls are protected from the outside against demolishing however if the owner misplaced his wall you might be able to break it down with a crowbar.
=> a natural way

What is not a natural way is go have 4/8 logs, 20/40 planks, 60/120 nails a shovel + watchtower kit in your inventory and build a watchtower next to someones base. Also stacking up on several items to create somesort of staircase is also not entering in a natural way.

Please keep in mind that raiding is allowed but needs to have a purpose. So the rule still counts. Take what you want or can carry, leave the rest. Dont be that d*ckhead to despawn everything else. Also if you are inside a base only break that whats needed to gain a way out again. Do not demolish fences just for demolising...
