I would be up for a private Rainbow Six Siege match if I owned a copy -- I played it on a free weekend and it was a lot of fun (if punishingly hard). How about GTA V Online, instead? If we could get four people together, there's tons of new stuff we could do. Or maybe How to Survive 2? Anyway, I hope we can meet up for group matches again soon. Happy Holidays, everybody!

Another awesome evening of 7DTD. Come and join us. We have an awesome base with a sweet garden tended my Mrs. Monkey. A deep moat to catch all the zombies before they make it to the front door(hopefully). Finally we have at least two citys scouted out which have hardly been touched so common and join us next time for some 7DTD next time and join in the fun.

As you may have noticed from our Events calendar, the two games we currently play on a weekly basis are 7 Days to Die and ARK: Survival Evolved, though we are planning to schedule weekly meetings for Starbound, Grand Theft Auto Online , and The Elder Scrolls Online, as well. The rest of the games on our Associated Games list are games we've either played sporadically in the past, or there is sufficient interest in playing somewhere down the line. Also, check out the Co-op/PvP Meet-Up subforum I mentioned to Renegade for other games our members are playing.

My wife (mrs.monkey) and I will probably pick up Battlefront at some point when there's a good sale for it, since we would only be playing it for the co-op modes. Sorry to hear about the computer troubles, frozen. In terms of games for which we may try to organize events sometime soon, I would recommend Contagion, Nosgoth, and Just Cause 2 MP. And let's not forget Mass Effect 3. ;)

Of course, there's always a chance that Tomb Raider will rise again for multiplayer matches, since so many group members own it. I'd love to see Two Worlds II get a regular event on the calendar, but that depends on group interest. The only other game we're playing right now with any regularity is 7DTD, but I know you're not too keen on that one. GTA V is such a big game...I've had to uninstall a bunch of games just to make room for it, but it's sooooo worth it.

Had to reset my main PC (using secondary PC right now, and its graphics capabilities arent as good ati 6700hd vid cpu: amd x2 220 with 3 Gb RAM) will be re-installing GTA5, Red Faction:Geurilla. what other games are recommended

Both Homeworld and Supreme Commander both Support 2-8 players, however with the demise of THQ the only way to play Supreme Commander multiplayer is for 1 person to host and give IP address / port to others that are going to play as well. not terribly difficult, but a pain in the rear noe the less. Homeworld requires all users to create a shift account and link it to steam profile before gaming can commence. After accounts are created someone starts a game and others click on it to join. easy peasy.

Though I'm especially awful at strategizing (easily my Achille's heel in gaming), I'll have to look into those games. What is their max player cap, frozen, do you know?

Wondering what peope think about MP strategy games ike "Homeworld-Remastered" or Supreme Commander. I havent played a MP match in a long time.

Well folks,

We are up and running again! The 7 Days to Die dedicated server is back, and the alpha 9 build is great! We took our chances in the randomly generated world and managed to find enough supplies to last us for the night.

Thanks to Mr.Reaper for dropping by! It was our first time out in the newly rendered maps so I wasn't sure how things would turn out, but we found each other, set up camp, and are planning to head out again at daybreak.

The Fun Pimps have really pulled out all the stops and this is definitely one of the best alpha early access games I've played. I hope more survivors can join up with us for the next event.

Remember, there is safety in numbers!

Hello everyone! I have missed you all. Just a quick note to say how sorry I am that I have been out of touch for so long. On top of my work being the busiest from spring to Christmas, and trying get to sleep earlier at night, my husband's father is [sadly] in his final days in the hospital.
Playing with you friends have proven to be the most fun I have ever had on a P.C.! I will be back on just as soon as I can squeeze in the time, because I miss it terribly!

In regards to your Blacklight Retribution issue Mr Monk, can you run Hola (IP spoofer)in the backgroiund and register as a NA or EU client? I use it to watch American Netflix

Well, no Blacklight for me and the mrs -- apparently, we live in a "Disabled Region" and cannot register to play the game. :(

A fine idea! If another person shows up, but you need/want more players, I recommend creating a Chat Event to send out the Bat-signal, as it were, to other members -- mrs.monkey and I do that frequently with "Shall We Play A Game" chat events.

I think we have a big enough and active enough community to start using the "community chat room". From this point forward, when I'm ready to play something, I'll hop in there. If I'm in the chat room, but maybe my status says "busy" or something like that, it means I'm up for some gaming...but not just yet. Can we try that?
