The Shatterered Isles

Hey everyone!

We had a fantastic time today with Mega Kingdoms. A lot of interesting things happened at the event so I'll be including in this update.

Summary of Today

The day started with four factions forming. The Spades occupying Toonstanbul, The Old Watch occupying... The Old Watch. The Republic of Crunch occupied Venice, and the Holy Roman Empire (HRE) occupying Sliasia. The first conflicts occurred when the Crunchites advanced northward and cut off any expansion for the HRE. This resulted in a short term war which had very little fighting between them. It ended in a White peace with the Crunch Republic ceding half the area to the HRE. Later on they agreed to an alliance.

On the Other side of the map, both Spades and The Old Watch moved to expand but never to threaten each other. These two groups also agreed to an alliance and move to be a Union

Towards the end, a move to unite all factions was put forth, The TOW and Spades initially agreed but later on the TOW withdrew, prompting the Roman Empire (The coalition of Spades, Crunch, and HRE) to attack and slaughter the The Old Watch's Home. They have now fled to their remaining territory in a harbor area.

Questions are still questioned over whether or not the Spades will continue to accept the alliance, as well as the Fate of the remnants of the TOW, as well as upcoming uprisings.

Updated Rules/Reminders

Preivious rules set

1: To be a faction you must have a place of existence in a pre-designated area that is pink or blue on the map. If you do not have a location for your faction your faction will not be recognized
1a: If you do not have 5 members including yourself in your faction at the beginning of the event you will not be recognized as a faction.
2: The Leader of the Faction cannot be overthrown unless killed by a pre-planned assassination or is captured by an enemy faction and executed by them.
2a If a party wishes to commit to an assassination they must contact the overseeing administrator of the server. Any other attempts will be considered RDM and not valid in overthrowing the faction leader
2b If successful, the leader of the plot will become the leader of the faction. The loyalists to the former leader can choose to reunify or escape to another faction, or form a new faction.
2c: If it is a failure, The plotting members will be "imprisoned" (Froze) and left to the Leader of the faction what to do with them.
3: There will be no fighting that was not planned or announced ahead of time. A faction must declare war against another faction for them to fight.
3a: If a party wishes to surprise attack another party, they must contact the overseeing admin for it to be valid. If not contacted, the attack will be considered not valid in the offensive.
4: A faction may impose whatever rules they see fit on land they control so long as they have a presence at the location

New additions

5: You must tag yourself as the faction you are with at the beginning of round.
5a: If you are not associated with a faction, put in a tag that says that like [NOFACTION] or [MERC] or [WANDERER]

Final reminder is that you can still form a faction on lands that are blue on the map as long as you have 5 members. Though be cautious, pre-existing factions CAN declare war on you as soon as you have been formed.
