The RX/QX Community Steam Group!

Hello, everybody. I hope your year since the shutdown of the QX Community has been a good one. I don't know why I waited until now to post this, but here goes nothing.

What I learned from my year leading the QX Community is that I am definitely not fit for any sort of leadership role, despite my confidence beforehand. My inability to maintain user interest in the site, Sino's constant trolling and my inability to pay for the site's bills are what ultimately killed off the QXComm. While I appreciate that Sino did ultimately leave me alone after the QXComm shutdown announcement (he was that Gunn guy), he in no way, shape or form helped me maintain user interest in the site, instead driving away users (then pinning the blame on me) and upon retrospect, I agree with the general consensus that he should have remained banned. I also, admittedly, made a lot of mistakes, and feel like all that hard work trying to maintain a community that fell apart faster than I could say "Twilight Sparkle" 20 times was for nothing. It was more of a learning experience, if you ask me, but I don't think I'll be resuming leadership of an entire, paid-for website any time soon. Maybe a moderation role on MLP Forums, but that depends on what the existing staff of that site think. At least I won't have to pay for that site!

Also, I have a feeling that the StopForumSpam installation was broken, hence why a lot of spambots were able to get through. Bleh.
