"MY HISTORY" won't be there forever because after I die, it wouldn't be considered my history. If you are talking about Babe Ruth's history. If you look at a timeline, that'll be something that will be there forever. It's not something you can cherish, can you cherish something you can't hold in your hand?
You actually can hold your history in your hand.
How can you hold your history?
An invention is a part of your history and you can hold it.
The history of the invention is one thing while the history of the invention in your hand.

The idea of past and present is man-made because without a consciousness there wouldn't be a past or future.
Both traveling to the future and the past is completely impossible becuase time is a man-made construct.

Time isn't man-made because the Earth rotates
Putting a calendar together is all in your head, it's man-made
Gravity technically is man-made because without a consciousness, there wouldn't be anyone to observe it.
The idea of things happening after we are here is completely man-made itself
To an animal, they don't have an idea that there is going be stuff that will happen after they die.
