Welcome to The Black Flag Forums. We are currently focusing on a d20 RPG Based on pathfinder and other d20 resources. In this RPG you play the owner of a corporation, guild, or organization of some kind. You hire people to work for you. They go on missions. And afterwards they get paid for a job well done and return with any loot they obtained. You must of course pay them a fair wage and pay for there health care. Upgrade there items. Maybe buy some property or hire some new guys. Then look for a new mission and do it all over again.



Your actions will shape the universe. The organizations you run will create the universe as we go. Building the game world is a big part of my campaigns. The things you do will echo from your game into others. As we go the universe will expand and conflicts will become a natural part of life. Alliances and federations will form. Treaties will be signed and trade agreements reached.



Beware of the dangers ahead though. The DMs are encouraged to be ruthless with there dice rolls. Unlike other rpgs where DMs are encouraged to keep your toons alive so that the game does not have to pause while you create a character. Life is fleeting in this game and you can expect to lose guys to unlucky dice rolls. Death is permanent. But your Corporation will live on. Corporations can die as well. If you lose all your guys and can not hire anymore then your group is over. You can go into the red but eventually your guys revolt against you and leave. Keep an eye on your finances. Putting all your money into one team and then losing them could be the death of your whole guild.
