The Fairest of Them All OFFICIAL

I am very sad to announce that The Fairest of Them All will be shut down. There are several reasons for this:

1.) Upkeep. It's very hard to keep up with the server- keeping the map clear, checking and banning hackers, and updating plugins all the time. It's too much for me too keep up with, and unfortunately I can't just make people admins and let them do it- that would go downhill very fast. I realized that it was too much for me when I recently lost my friend Twinkie due to several arguments we had over server upkeep.
2.)The server has been down for about 2 weeks for who knows why. I have been meaning to contact the hoster and ask them what is up, but I havent gotten around to it. I think that this in itself shows that the server is, for me, no longer worth the $22 a month that I pay for it if I don't care enough to get it running again.
3.)It's really expensive, and I can't keep dishing out the money for it every month.

I think Fairest has had a good run. It was so much fun playing with all of you this past summer- I had a blast setting it up and programming all the plugins to make our server the best of them all and the fairest of them all. I have downloaded all the server files so that it will be able to go right back to how it was if ever possible. Maybe next summer I can put it back up and have another go at it, but for now it is best for fairest to go down. Again, thank you to everyone that took part of this- I appreciate you all.

I have gained some friends and lost some. I have learned a lot about programming, and a lot about others, and a lot about myself. If I had to do it over again I would do the exact same thing-it was so worth it guys, and I love you all.
