Ahem . . . . So as you may see, there are four- yes, four I say -small dots that are commonly known as periods. That is indeed grammatically correct, as is the entire paragraph I am writing. Now, you would be perfectly justified in asking why exactly did I have to point out that there are four periods, but for the sake of you and I, I will simply say that the fourth period is the actual period for that sentence, thus beginning a new one- as is with the continuation of another sentence. Henceforth, you now understand why there must be four- I say again, four periods at the beginning of this paragraph.
