Military might, stealthy spies, blatant propaganda, and high-tech Space Race marvels are all at war game lovers' fingertips when they choose to play as the U.S.A. or the U.S.S.R. and rewrite history in The Cold War Era.

TCWE is a P2P RTS strategy game based on the epic conflict between the Americans and the Soviets spanning the 1950s through the 1990s. Within one hour of gameplay players will course through four decades of contention, paranoia, secrecy, and the overarching "us vs. them" mentality.

Despite the complex themes encapsulated in TCWE's hour-long gameplay, Alina Digital's mission is to "minimize clicks per minute to maximize fun." The challenge in TCWE comes from a live opponent, not figuring out complex game controls.

Exciting News, Comrades!

I'm thrilled to announce that our small but mighty team has just wrapped up closed beta testing for the multiplayer mode in Arms Race 2! It’s been a wild ride full of challenges, but we’ve overcome them—and multiplayer is now running smoothly and ready for action.

In the early days of testing, launching a server and connecting players could take up to 3 minutes. But now? It’s lightning fast—just 3 to 5 seconds!

To make finding allies easier, I’ve created a matchmaking thread on the Arms Race 2 Steam forum. If you're looking for teammates to strategize and dominate with, drop your contact info there and coordinate your sessions—super simple and super fast!

I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of you for your amazing support. Your feedback has been 100% positive so far, and for a small indie team like ours, that means the world. It was your incredible support that truly inspired us to bring multiplayer to life. We built it for you—and we can’t wait to see you all playing together

And here’s a bonus: your friends don’t need to own AR2 to play with you! The free demo of Arms Race 2 is fully integrated with multiplayer. Just have them download it and jump right into battle with you.

Hi comrades,

I'm excited to share that our small team will soon be releasing a multiplayer mode for Arms Race 2! You'll finally be able to enjoy epic Cold War geopolitical sessions with your friends.

Right now, I’m looking for a few players who’d like to participate in beta testing the multiplayer mode. We’ll play some online matches — you’ll get to enjoy the game while I test the features we need. The winner will be the player who earns the highest score, just like in the regular game.
