No sure if many others that myself see these messages but I have sad news that

[h1]Robert Winzler passed away on August 5th 2021[/h1].

He was on the list for a lung transplant and passed from lung complications. He always appreciated the time with TGC and its vast diversity of members.

My thoughts are with all that knew him well. Rest in peace my friend.

It was so much more fun when people were not looked down upon for not running at the front of the field. Tallying points became the most important point to many rather than enjoying the camaraderie, with teaching, learning and full mutual respect being at the forefront.

Some of us are still kicking around, not sim racing though. Almost every club or team I've looked at, recently has been full on pro stuff.

It feels like a lifetime ago since people raced together for fun, rather than the whole Corporate, we need to fund this . . .

Hi all,

Don't know if anyone is still kicking around these parts. Been a long time since I got the wheel out but with all the high profile sim racing going on lately it's has got me interested again.

So I'm looking to buy a game... is pcars2 the one to go for now? Any Discord channels to chat?
