Recently myself and Geng have been rocking a bit of Altis Life. Really interesting mod for AMRA 3 which conjures up memories of how DayZ used to feel when you first found it. This game is all about the experiences, player interactions and stories that come from them.

In very simplistic terms its a bit like Grand Theft Auto, there are civilians and cops each role playing their jobs to maximum effect. Progression isnt as slow as DayZ and its not long before you are racing around the massive island on your own quad bike, filling it with legal (or illegal) cargo to go off and sell.

My first evening playing we took our quadbikes out to some fields to collect not quite legal materials to process else where on the map and then sell on at another location. This just sounds like a fetch and carry sort of mission and really it is but the thrill of doing so knowing at any point the player controlled cops could pull you over and search your vehicle is palpable.

second evening playing the game I was already jumping into a helicopter with a gang and holding up diamond traders as they sold their goods ending up in a fight to the death with law enforcers.
