[SYF] Gaming

Firstly, I'd like to congratulate the SYF/Aura/Rand CoD:4 team who took out the MCLAN last Sunday. The LAN was exceptionally exciting, with many matches resulting in surprising scoreboards and brilliant clutches from all teams who attended. The Grand final was heavily contended between Team Immunity and SYF Gaming/auRa. A spectacularly close BO3 Game Mode resulted in 'mp_strike' been the final showdown between the two teams. Overall, really anyone's game; a late strategy change in defense from the SYF/Aura team resulted in a shift of scoreboard, concluding with a 13-11 victory.

Good game to all that attended, shout-outs to the fellas at Gamestah who managed to rock up and call pretty much every team that attended the event.
~1st Place took out designer 'Fractal R2 Define' PC Cases, and pocketed over 600 dollars in cash
~MVP 'Spud' took home a nifty ultra portable 320GB Western Digital hard drive

Secondly, it's looking like SYF Gaming may indeed be putting a 'for fun' team into the upcoming Reloaded LAN in SA, Australia. Word has it that 'Karma' 'Titan' and a few other members will be entering for a good day of fragging and signing of mouse-pads.

The Endurance LAN is quickly approaching, or so our calendars are telling us. 'Zkyz' and 'cArn' are both looking for members to enter the SYF Gaming team in order to have 5 to enter the LAN event.

That's about all we have for you this week in the Admin Update. -Oh, wait, forgot to mention E3 Expo 2010. Yes, we will be covering it heavily in the upcoming Episode 2 of the SYF Gaming Podcast. We'll be looking over the b1g three (Nintendo, Sony and Microsofts) offerings, as well as a slew of game announcements and hardware/software developments. It's going to be huge.
