Scam Safety

Lately on steam, the number of scammers has skyrocketed. Scammers are everywhere now, and here is how to tell if they are a scammer or bot, and what to do about it.

If a random user friends you check if their profile is private. Normally scammers profiles are private. Next, if you hit accept on the friend request and they automaticly send you a message with a link - DO NOT CLICK IT. Most of those links are scams,viruses,malware,etc. Some of them are even pictures that can keylog your computer [.png]. Some of them can even steal everything on you steam account, and your computer. Go to their steam profile, and report them>unfriend them>then block all communication from them.

I am tired of seeing all these scammers on steam, and I hope that one day they will go away. Remember, always report and block them. Be warned, sometimes they might not actually be scammers, and might actually be real people that just want to be your friend.
