Monolith

Grouping, similar, in fact, a religious sect. One of the strongest factions of the Zone, defends the approaches to the center of the Zone, is well equipped and organized, the fighters of the group are very fanatical, they do not retreat even in front of superior enemy forces. Without warning anyone who enters the territory they control is attacked. They worship the Monolith stone, in whose honor they were nicknamed. It is rumored that the Monolith can fulfill desires, but so far no one has been able to pass through crowds of fanatics who crawl under bullets in order to protect the stone. All members of the group are zombie and are controlled by stone impulses.
In 2012, the group was significantly weakened, due to which it was on the verge of extinction. Fighters began to increasingly come to reason and leave the ranks of the sect.
In 2013, the remnants of the grouping forces went over and consolidated in Pripyat and the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, which sealed the grouping and made it possible to keep its already small number unchanged.
In 2014, it was decided to break through on the Radar and try to re-launch the Brainstormer. Despite the huge losses, the plan was a success. The radiation of the Vyzhigatel blocked all sorts of passages to the backwater, the vicinity of the plant "Jupiter", as well as to the Pripyat itself. All the stalkers who were there were doomed to death or zombies. Only a few were able to leave the center of the zone through the use of psi helmets. In spite of the radiation, the fighters of the group are not so “zombied”. They have a weak mind that makes them not go alone to the superior forces of the enemy.
In 2015, the group returned its former superiority and consolidated in the territories: Radar, Red Forest, as well as Limanska. The fighters are fighting fiercely for Radar and the Vyzhigatel. They are trying to prevent the Scorcher from shutting down in every possible way.
