Censoring the internet, one website at a time

Basically the government has the right to shut down any website that illegally transmits or transfers documents, images, files, etc. at any time


Its like when you go on Youtube and you see "WMG has removed this video...blah blah blah", but to a much grander scale. All torrent, live streaming, and media sharing sites can be shut down at any moment (including reddit). Big companies like Google, Yahoo, Facebook, wikimedia, and ebay signed a joint letter to

congress opposing the bill.

People see it as a violation of free speech and free will.
