Welcome to STEENVAL STUDIOS

Today marks the official launch of Steenval Studios, an independent game development studio dedicated to building systems-driven experiences with strong mechanical depth and intentional design.

The name Steenval comes from the Dutch word for rockfall—a force of nature where one falling stone triggers a cascading shift. This idea reflects our design philosophy: Small actions shaping entire worlds.

Steenval Studios will focus on delivering games that blend realism, simulation depth, and creative worldbuilding. Our first project is already well underway, with title reveal, development insights and updates to be shared here in this group.
