Another milestone has been crushed: The world map of GoldClaim: Starfall Nuggets. GoldClaim is the name of the franchise, Starfall Nuggets is its first title, and Valaenia is the name of the land where it all takes place.

Valaenia is the land where the first GoldClaim story unfolds. It is a frontier country shaped by geology, natural resources, and the ambitions of those who came searching for gold.

The world map spans 64 × 32 kilometers, covering 2048 km² of land. Within this landscape you’ll find deserts, mountain ranges, temperate valleys, volcanic regions, rivers, and settlements. Each region has its own character and geological history — and that history directly influences where valuable resources can be found.

From the beginning, the design philosophy behind GoldClaim has been “geology first.”

Instead of scattering resources randomly across the world, Valaenia was designed as a landscape where minerals and gold deposits make sense. Terrain types, elevation, volcanic activity, and erosion all influence where gold may accumulate.

This means that prospecting becomes a meaningful activity. Players who learn to read the landscape — riverbeds, sediment layers, and geological formations — will have a better chance of finding profitable claims.
