SOCOM Revival - 24/7 SOCOM Maps

Figured I'd share with you guys some of the things we've been working on.

We finally have been able to allow third person mode on the server, thanks to fallXone. His script enabled players connected to the server to enable third person mode, without allowing them to use any other cheats (god mode, noclip, etc.)

For help on enabling third person mode, just type !helpmenu in chat while in the server, then choose the Third Person Mode menu. Enter the lines of commands you see into your console (`). If you ever want to go back to first person mode, just type "cam_command 2".

Or, alternatively, you could copy and paste the following into the console. These commands will bind all of the third person commands onto the "F" key, which essentially means you could turn on third person by just pressing "F".

bind f "cam_command 1; cam_idealdist 70; c_thirdpersonshoulder 1; c_thirdpersonshoulderaimdist 350; c_thirdpersonshoulderheight 20; c_thirdpersonshoulderoffset 0"

Today we were also able to impliment various sounds from SOCOM into the server. This includes round start music, round end music (SEALS/Terrorists Victorious music), as well as vocal samples from Jester and Wardog (from SOCOM 2) that plays whenever various actions are performed (headshots, teamkills etc.) We plan to further extend the audio samples as we progress.

Lastly, we plan to upgrade the server to 128-tick within the next week. This upgrade will allow for smoother server performance, which in turn means gameplay will be greatly improved. I will announce when the upgrade occurs as soon as it happens.

If you have any friends on Steam that would be interested in playing in the server, invite them to the group! Our first community game night will be scheduled within the next couple of weeks, as soon as we have finalized everything on the server.
