(A)Surrounded in the melody of silence, only cricket psalms to be heard.

(B)Engulfed was I in the belly of the night, I sought refuge in a tunnel.

Apprised by the hymns of the serpent mass, I knew this would be my pass.

A pass to the surreal world of the ethereal.

(D)Like any man, I knelt down and prayed for the immortal Yahweh
(D)For only He can provide an outcome to turn the serpent hoard away.

(C)In the moments that are grew increasingly ominous, a ray of hope was shown.

(B)As light fluttered into the tunnel, revealing the minerals of spinel.

Refraction of light upon the spinel blinded the serpent hoard, causing them to slither in retreat with no award.
