channels field. Use the IRC and only the IRC for all matchmaking, stage striking, finding your opponent, ect. (if you can, make sure your Twitch name, IRC name, mii’s name and name on the bracket are all the same or close, it’s very hard to keep up with 12 different names per person).

1 set per round in winners will be chosen to be streamed until top 8 where all matches in winners will be streamed. Losers will be streamed only if winner's is waiting on it. If the stream round ends and you’re still waiting for your opponent to show and are getting no feedback they lose and you advance.

Stage Striking is 1-2-1 (if you both want to go first or both want to go second flip a coin or something.)


Etiquette Rules:

Time out is determined by highest stock count then lowest damage


If you disconnect you lose a game in the set


If you are caught lying or cheating in any way you are blacklisted for the next 3 tournaments


Laggy matches still count, quitting out without my say so will result in a loss for you


If you're behind the stream (i.e. stream is in round 2 and you're in round 1) and don't communicate with your opponent or the TO for 5 minutes you lose one game, then you get another 5 minutes and if you still don't say anything you lose another and so on. Just let me know you're alive and you need a second and we're good.


If you don't strike stages with your opponent or at least agree on one and just jump ahead I'm just going to pick whatever I want and you don't want that.


Top 8 (that's the last 8 players remaining) will all be streamed. Do not jump ahead.


Follow the rules, I don't care if you think they're stupid. They're all practical.


Streamed matches specific rules:

Villager will kill himself twice with his up-b immediately and he will not interfere at all, you're encouraged to start immediately as the announcer says go.

If Lucario is playing the player who chose Lucario has the right to ask to run through this process so he's not powered down.

Stage Striking

For the first match, players will take turns striking neutral stages until one is left (1-2-1). That is where the first match will take place. For the second match, the winner bans 3 stages from the entirety of the legal stage list and the Loser picks from the remaining stages. You cannot pick a stage you have already won on in the current set, however, if both players agree on a stage (literally any stage) it is okay to pick it.


Character Choice

For Game 1 you choose whoever you want! For all subsequent games the loser of the previous game can change characters after the stage is agreed on. The winner may not change characters in the set after a win.
