This group was started for the "Select Few" guild in Guild Wars 2 and will be used as a way to stay connected.

Select Few has always been about finding friendly like-minded mature (18+) VoIP players to game with for many years. This Steam group, along with our forums and mumble server, is to be used as contact list to find your current/old gamer friends whenever a new game comes out or if you had lost interested in a game in the past.

This group is for ALL games, especially those on Steam.

Guild Wars 2 Expansion: Heart of Thorns!

Hey All -

It's been a longtime! I'm sure most of you have heard about the new GW2 expansion announcement. If not see links below.

I personally am very excited as I've been waiting forever most of these features..especially Guild vs. Guild battles, Guild Halls, and Guild Rankings! Content that made GW1 amazing and kept me playing for years (my main motivation in playing GW1 in fact). Now that GW2 is getting all of this content, I have a reason to return to GW2 a few weeks before the release of the Heart of Thorns expansion - though that could be a bit far into the future (no release date yet).

But the main purpose of reaching out to you all is to start a thread and see what everyone's plans/status is for the expansion release....

- Are you still playing GW2 currently and in a guild?
- Will you be returning, like myself, becase of this new content?
- Would you like to see Select Few [sF] reborn before the expansion release?
- Would you like to create a new guild?
- Would you like to join an existing established guild?
- Am I the only one thats going to feel like a noob when they log back in?
etc.

It's been a longtime! I just wanted to let you all know that our previous mumble server has been shutdown. We (as in anyone that was ever in or friends of sF players) have moved over to a new server. See info below:

Anyone been following or interested in this MMO? I think I am going to try the Open Beta on 9/4. The game is free 2 play, however, I think if you plan to seriously play it - there is a subscription as well.

ArcheAge is described as a "sandpark" MMORPG, which the developers say is a hybrid of the open content style of a "sandbox" game, and the more structured play experience of a "themepark" game. This includes crafting, housing, siege battles and seemingly endless character customization. Instead of the usual archetypes, the online game gives you the ability to pick from 120 different classes.

Open Beta commencing on Sept. 4
Head Start starts on Sept. 12
ArcheAge will launch on Sept. 16
