Welcome to the Chasseurs Britanniques Line Infantry Regiment!

The Chasseurs Britanniques Line Infantry has just recently started, and needs new recruits! Non-commissioned officer and officer slots are open to anyone and everyone who proves themselves capable soldiers.

The Chasseurs was formed by the remains of the Armee de Condre after it was demobilized after a few disasterly defeats by republican forces. The Chasseurs, aswell as the Armee de Condre was a strong, and sucessful royalist force. It is known that the Chasseurs had about one battalion throughout the 1790s-1814. The Chasseurs hailed from Brittany, France. Which was a strong foothold for royalist resistance to the new, oppresive rule of the first Republic of France, and the First Imperial Government of France. The Chasseurs, in order to avoid being crushed by the vast outnumbering republican armies, fled to England where they joined up with many other royalist regiments, and English regiments which would later go back over the Channel to fight Napoleon's armies. The Chasseurs Britannique was known about Europe as a sucessful regiment of well trained, and disciplined soldiers. The regiment continued to fight well, and strong until 1814 when their goal of a monarchy, Was finally re-established with King Louis XVIII as the new Head of Government in France.
