Now, scrobbles remain forever. You can listen to a song now, and you'll know you listened to it in 30 years from now. They won't leave you, they won't disappear, they'll forever be there. You can always come back to them, you can get stats, you can just pile them up, you can just keep listening to the same songs, they will not disappear. The joy from scrobbling will, in the long run, be greater than the joy of having a relationship, and even better: scrobbles can't hurt you.
