Due to an unforseen event, my current server host will be ending all services within the next 30 days. Therefore, I will be closing the server for the time being until a new suitable host can be found, and more active administration can be procured to help keep the server community clean and a fun atmosphere for all its players. Sorry for any trouble this may cause, and I cannot give any estimated time frame as to when the server will become available again. Here is the information sent to me from my server host:

"We are sending this message out with a very unfortunate update. FPSplayers will be closing its doors and effective immediately will be shutting down all sales. We will be making all efforts to keep your server online for another month. We will be cancelling any PayPal subscriptions that are coming into us as well.

At this time, it is suggested that you retrieve any custom server modifications that you have made and prepare yourself and/or your communities to seek alternatives for your server hosting needs. This goes for all Game, TeamSpeak, and Dedicated server clients. Ticket support will be very limited for game server fixes we will be primarily focusing on client account questions.

We have several server locations around the world to shut down and unfortunately the shutdown times will be staggered with the Datacenters that we have contracts with. What this means is that in order to keep your server online for as long as possible it very well may be necessary to migrate your server to a new location. Efforts will be made to keep your server in the same geographic location but for some this will be impossible. Again any and all efforts will be made to keep you in the same area.

If your server has to be migrated to a new location, you will lose access to it temporarily and it will show unknown status on the control panel. Once the migration is complete you will receive an automated email letting you know about the move and your server will again be accessible. We will attempt to get messages out there to inform you of the move so that you are not caught off guard.

This is a bulk email and it is difficult to address every person on an individual level but in case there is any confusion what this means for you is if, for example, you renewed your server with us today then we will be making all efforts to keep you online for another 30 days. If you renewed your server 2 weeks ago then we will make all efforts to keep you online for another 2 weeks. If you are due to renew in a couple of days, then please do not send a payment in and make arrangements to seek out alternative hosting. We will still try to keep you online for as long as we can.

It has been a pleasure serving you and spending countless hours hanging out with a lot of you on our TeamSpeak.
