Grace period needed - Shutting down for now...

If you have been playing on the server you'd know that there has been some talk about shutting down the server. I have thought about the idea of keeping the server running for another month but I personally feel like it is currently a waste of effort, for me anyway.

Now this goes without saying, but I'm not giving up on Rust Junkies. I personally feel like the game has been getting slow and it is the reason people to stop playing / taking frequent breaks. I do plan on re-opening the server once the game has been updated, but news about that will come later. For now, the server will remain down.

So what's going to happen?
Well first thing is first... I'd like to tidy up the steam group. Numbers are numbers but they mean nothing to me. I'd rather have people who are active / have been active on the server aswell as here to remain part of the steam group. As for the others, If I haven't seen you around and you somehow ended up here then I am sorry. If you'd like to rejoin then by all means noone is stopping you, but I feel like a little cleaning is needed.

Second like mentioned the server will go down, what this means for you is that if you're still interested in Rust Junkies, my ways of admin-ing or have enjoyed the service please keep your eyes open for an announcement in the coming months / weeks (Depending on how long facepunch is going to take). When I feel like it is appropriate to re-launch the server, an announcement will be made and we can once again rejoice.

I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed to the community whether it is by playing or helping fund it for the rest of the players.

Thank you very much for your efforts. I have not given up on you nor have I given up on the server I just believe there needs to be a little bit of a grace period.

Thank you all for understanding and I hope to see you all soon when the server launches again! Feel free to remain active on the steamgroup, I will check it often as I always have that's a promise.
