In the Shadowrun RPG universe, Renraku Computer Systems is the 5th largest AAA megacorporation. As the name implies, its business core is computer technology, especially memory storage and databases. Since it acquired one of the Corporate Court's original founders, Keruba International, Renraku permanently seats a representative on the Corporate Court.

What makes them even more famous is their fearsome private security, the Renraku Red Samurai, whose recruits undergo 2 years of training at The Forge (kaeteru in weeb-speak), subdivided in 5-man cells after their first six months of personal training.

As a result, Renraku's military arm is highly trained, disciplined, devoted and tactical. It does not operate stealthily, rather they excel in situations where stealth or subterfuge is not a factor, dealing a powerful, initial blow followed up by a very well coordinated assault.
