(a) prolonged use of amphetamine may lead to paranoid-type psychosis. This does not seem to me to go away in an instant.

b) psychedelics and cannabis can trigger a mild mental health problem, but they do not in itself cause them (persistent, therefore, cannabis episodes are short-lived).

c) Alcohol, including drugs, can also trigger a malaise of mental health problems. It also causes drunkenness.
