I hope everyone's doing well! Just wanted to take a moment to make an announcement about scammers since I've been getting a lot of friend requests from people impersonating other members of this group and attempting phishing scams. A few people have reached out to me to let me know they've been seeing the same thing, so it seems like they may be targeting this group specifically. It's your typical phishing scam, where you'll get a friend request/message from a familiar name telling you that they need a 5th for a FACEIT match and will eventually send you a phishing link with a Steam login form if you agree to it.

Needless to say, this is a fake form that will send your login details to the scammer, so just ignore it if this happens to you. If you'd like to have some fun, feel free to play along with them to waste their time. Bonus points for submitting fake credentials to ♥♥♥♥ with them even more!

What I like to do is set up Python scripts to send loads of fake creds to their forms with random delays, and realistic looking logins, to try and make it harder for them to separate the spam from the real victims.
