Chat Rules

3. All spoilers must be marked with a spoiler tag until 48 hours after an episode airs or after the movie is released. Art of G5 characters (without plot details) only count as spoilers for 48 hours after the character is officially revealed.
4. No politics (US or otherwise) outside of #politics. Inside #politics, remember Newton's Flaming Laser Sword: "What cannot be settled by experiment is not worth debating."
5. Don’t give new people the wrong impression of yourself or the rest of the community, and avoid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in general.

Satisfactory Server is Up!

We finally figured out how to get a Satisfactory server running! Joining it, however, requires a special set of commands:

1. Start the game
2. Press the ~ key to bring up the console
3. Type "open factorio.pony.dev" and press enter

The server will be up 24/7, so feel free to drop by and help with building things whenever!

Satisfactory is on sale for 20% off, and after we finish our current Space Exploration Factorio game, we're planning on trying to get a Satisfactory game together. If you were ever interested in getting Satisfactory, this sale is your chance!

We hope to keep the satisfactory server up 24/7 once it's launched, so that everyone can have a chance to contribute to the factory. However, Satisfactory doesn't have official dedicated servers yet, so we're going to have to hack together a solution for that first. Once the server is up, we will post a separate announcement with connection information.

If you would like to be pinged when the server goes live, be sure to join the Satisfactory role in the discord chat by typing "!joinrole Satisfactory" in the #bot channel.
