Welcome to the Playcrafting Indie Game Dev Community!

Playcrafting started in 2009 as a Meetup group for indie game developers in New York City. We now connect indie developers, technologies, and brands through one of the largest game development communities in the world. Our partnerships create new and exclusive games and content with and for the world’s top companies and through our deep network of vetted developers, spanning across categories like mobile, XR, PC, console, and more. Our goal is provide unique opportunities, resources, and events to the indie game development community.

Welcome to Play NYC 2023 on Steam! Incredible indie games and hot deals from our exhibiting developers at this year's Play NYC show in Manhattan! Check out all the games and discounts on our page from August 4-8th!

Play NYC is New York's premier indie gaming convention. Returning in its 8th year, we're uniting 100+ creators and 3000+ fans from the New York area and beyond in a two-day celebration of games. Play NYC welcomes the latest games from tons of incredible indie studios, hailing from New York and around the world. The show floor includes live tournaments, interviews, merch, games across all platforms, and more!

Playcrafting has hosted Play NYC for the past several years to raise the voices, creations, and hard work of the indie game developer community. We believe in indie game developers and think the indie games scene still has incredible strength. We strive to make Play NYC a huge benefit to indie game developers and their games!
