counter strike does not support SLI or duel core proccesors, runs fastest with the right consel commands, such as follows
-cl_cmdrate 100
-rate 25,000 recomended --100,000
-fps_max 600
-fps_modem 0 Variable
A legacy command, but it still exists and works. If set to something besides 0 this command will take precedence over fps_max. Just set this to 0 and use fps_max
-cl_updaterate number of packets per second you are requesting from the server set as 70
-cl_crosshairscale Size of the crosshair. Lower value=Larger, Higher value=smaller Default: 768
