关于 Passiflora Classic DarkRP

Reviving the classic roleplay we all know and love.

Seeking a classic, semi-vanilla way to play:

Remember when having $100,000 made you one of the richest in the game?
These days you're dirt poor.

Remember when players tended to be more friendly to other players?
These days power-hungry players will exclude and insult new guys.

Remember when admins resolved situations fairly and listened to both sides?
These days admins ban without evidence and cater to their friends.

Remember when the police were a group to be feared?
Police powers have been scaled back immensely, and it's ruining RP.

There are many more attributes of classic DarkRP that could be listed. Whether we miss some of these or not, it's arguable that their implementations could greatly benefit DarkRP as a whole by bringing back some of the core intentions of the gamemode that seem to have been lost over time.

We, as a community, can fix this. DarkRP doesn't need to be this way. We can implement solutions to fix DarkRP including the economy of the game, the power of the jobs, the way the administrators work, and so on.

The server I plan to open will implement these. The server will initially be a beta server with only 14 slots. From there, if the idea is liked, then the group and server can expand. If not, it will remain at 14 slots.

I've finally figured out how to port forward and therefore put my server out there for others to see. Keep in mind, since the server is port forwarded from my own computer, it may be slightly laggy when joining, but I can assure it'll be a good time once you're in.

Recently I've been optimizing the server as well as putting new scripts in. I added new permaprops and perma-textscreens to make the map less boring. There is still much to do, but officially after this announcement I ask you all to assist in the creation of the server, espcially inviting friends and players to the game and group. After all, we are meant to be a community.

There is still much to do, I am aware. I am working on finding a scoreboard that fits the server. I am also looking for Staff to help run the server and keep it safe while I am away doing whatever. I do not intend on adding VIP to the server, but instead a rank of trusted, for free, to those whom deserve it. For the time being, I don't need money to run the server. If I ever do, I guarantee the 29 current people in this group will get VIP for free.

Furthermore, let's get out Alpha server populated:

Tonight at 6:00 Central Standard Time, there will be a grand opening event on the server. Be sure to show up and invite your friends. You'll recieve $5,000 for every friend that shows up tonight only. Be sure to download the content pack before joining to avoid a long FastDL.

The server is visible in the multiplayer menu, but I don't know how well you'll be able to join. This is hopefully just a temporary setback and will be fixed shortly.
