The Orsimer. The people of the Wrothgarian and Dragontail Mountains, Orcish armorers are prized for their craftsmanship. Orc troops in heavy armor are among the finest in the Empire, and are fearsome when using their berserker rage.

The Orcs, or Orsimer, are the people of the Mountains of the region of High Rock in Tamriel. Descendants of Malacath; the Orcish people were originally similar to the elven kind until they were transformed.

Orcish people are naturally gifted in the art of smithing, with many Orcish children being taught how to work with metal from a young age. As well as being gifted with a hammer, Orcs' build and rough lifestyle makes them more than adept warriors. Best shown in their exceptional skills when serving under the Imperial Legion in which; with their combined heavy armour and berserkers' rage, made them feared across the battlefield.

In the present day, the Orcish people; after centuries of war and strife, have finally managed to re-build Orsinium - their capital city - and have flourished since. For how long, however, remains uncertain.

Orcs believe in the nature of honourable combat; caring not for death, Orcs only seek to die an honourable death. In order to achieve such, regular trials of combat are placed upon all Orsimer. These games, while meant for Orcs, are available to outsiders.
