NS <BAD> Clan Headquarters

Title says it all. Been doing PUGs (pick up games) 6v6 classic style over at the ENSL (European Natural Selection League) for about 3 years or so now. The atmosphere is both moderately chill and moderately intense. Not exactly the pure chill environment we often fostered on the old BAD servers, but also far from the pretentious intensity of the competitive scene from about 10 years ago, especially of the American variant - in short, a happy medium for former pubbers and pros can meet. Very international crowd - lingua franca is English. Looking for people desiring to return to NS1, even if for just a bit.

What follows sounds like a lot, but really only takes about 15 minutes.

How to Get Back Into the Game:

1.) Sign up at ENSL ( https://www.ensl.org/ ) with an account including your Steam ID.

2.) Join the ENSL Discord Server ( https://discord.gg/ZUSSBUA )

3.) Install the latest patched version of NS1. Note: pyro has kindly fixed many bugs in the game, which left off at NS 3.2. It is now currently NS 3.3b ( https://github.com/ENSL/NS/#downloads )

4.) Once you launch the custom launcher, go to the settings tab, and click the "Use Experimental Build" Box. This will activate the the bug fixes made by pyro.

How to Join a Gather:

1.) Either go directly to ensl.org or launch the custom launcher and click "Join Gather"

2.) Once joined, vote for a map (2 votes per person, though can't cast 2 for the same map) and server (Miami, USA or London, UK).

3.) Once 12 players have joined, vote for team captains (2 votes per player, can only vote for one person once).

Main Rules

1.) Be respectful. Mild rage is okay.

2.) Never mute your team captain and follow their orders to the best of your ability

4.) Do your best to play at least 2 rounds (1 marines, 1 aliens) on a map before leaving. Find a replacement, if you can, if this is not possible.

5.) These games abide by ENSL Rules, not those of BAD or anyone else.
