Schwarze Schar

Formed in 1809 when war broke out between the First French Empire and the Austrian Empire, the unit initially consisted of approximately 2,300 infantrymen and cavalrymen before incorporating a number of artillery troops. The Black Brunswickers also wore silver totenkopf badges on their hats. Their title originated from the Duke, who claimed Brunswick–Lüneburg, which the French had abolished in order to incorporate its lands into the Kingdom of Westphalia.

They earned the nicknames ''Schwarze Schar - Black Horde'' and ''Regiment of Death" throughout their fairly short, but eventful history.

The Brunswick Ducal Field-Corps was involved in major battles such as :
Battle of Halberstadt
Battle of Olper
Battle of Tordesillas
Battle of Quatre Bras
Battle of Waterloo
and various skirmishes in the Peninsular campaign

At its peak the Brunswick Ducal Field-Corps fielded :

The in-game regiment is raised on the 12th of May 2026 by Oberst Cløcc, bolstering full independent Infantry, Artillery and Cavalry companies with specialised weekly events for each
