If we are ever to work well as a single unit and a team, we need to start to apply some structure to the group. I have given myself the role as 'coach' to allow me to identify what we are good at, and what we need improvements on.

I have compiled a lost which should act as a starting point on what we need to begin doing.

This is quite a comprehensive list on what needs doing, but it accounts for all situations of including low income/high income and different routes on different maps. I ask all members to be open minded if they previously hated a weapon, but I think these are a must if we are to work good even in our darkest hours. If you have another weapon that you like to use and it is not on the list, by all means use it if you have a good justification behind doing so, but at least try and and use the weapons I have listed. I hope that this will give the team a level of uniformity and coordination when playing. Rather than diving in the deep end with a weapon you have never used that is on the list, instead try and perfect the weapons that you already have a good idea about, e.g. if you are pretty good with the AK-47, and have never used the P90 before, then I would recommend using the AK-47 and getting that aced before attempting any others. Guns marked with a star are the bare minimum that need to be learnt, all others would be better to come later.

On the maps side of things:

Dust2
Nuke
Mirage
Inferno

If there is a best of 3 tournament we can expect these maps to pop up. I have judged that we are quite able on Inferno especially, with Nuke and Dust 2 needing a little more work, Mirage on the other hand we are almost starting from scratch so will need to do lots more work on that. I know we all love Inferno but we need to open up our horizon and start to get our foot in the door when it comes to other maps.

Moving on to roles within the team, I think that we should all have a dedicated job when playing to ensure we cover all possible scenarios and come out on top. Here is what I have come up with:

Strat Caller: He is the one who decides where the team goes and what they do. Open to suggestions but what he says is whats going to happen. This is crucial that what he says goes as we cannot afford to lose any members not using the strength of the team. Needs A+ communication and an extremely detailed knowledge of callouts and strategies.

Entry Fragger: One of the most important roles on the team, commonly used in a rush, he runs in and gets kills very quickly. The way he works is by quickly bringing down the man count for the rest of his team, and he is likely to be the first to die. He will rush in, get a kill, reload, get a kill, and then get killed himself. Now he has managed to make the game a 4v3 which makes it much easier for his team mates to attack the objective. Needs a perfect aim, speedy grenade knowledge and the ability to call out intel very quickly.

AWPer/Auto-Sniper: Working more of a passive role, this member will obviously use the two long-range high-damage flavours of rifles. It may be covering a planted bomb, clearing the way from a far, or keeping an eye on the bombsite, this person needs to be extremely familiar with the mechanics of the rifles, have a good knowledge on vantage points and also be very strong with a sidearm like the CZ-Auto, P250 or the Deagle.

Lurker/Flanker: His team has rushed B, they are all dead, its a 1v4 and he only has a pistol. The enemies haven't seen him yet. They are checking for AFK's. Suddenly, Bang!, Bang!, Bang!, Knife! He wins the rouund. The way this person works is by not rushing in with his teammates, and sticking to the outsides of the map. When everyone else is dead he needs to clear up behind them. He will also work the unwatched flank during a rush and be the clutch player at the end of the round. Needs patience, good aim, a cool head and the ability to make his team mates scream his name after the 1v5 1hp clutch.

Support players: All round general badasses. These are the people who are planting bombs, covering exits and throwing grenades. This person will adopt any weapon that the situation see's fit and will take a slower approach to the objectives whilst the entry fragger is clearing the way. They will also work as a technician, being the one who is throwing grenades to support his team and WILL ALWAYS BUY A DEFUSER, NO EXCEPTIONS. Needs good knowledge of the game mechanics, all weapons, grenades and tactics used by both your team and the enemy.

We will have 1 strat caller, 1 or 2 entry fraggers, 1 or 2 AWPers, 1 Lurker and 1 or 2 support players.
