Hello and welcome to this week's Gaming and tech news, But before we get onto the news We would all like to offer our condolences to all the people that were killed on Flight MH17 earlier this week.

First up in our Microsoft news this week. Microsoft is set to axe 18,000 Jobs. The majority of these jobs are being lost in the Nokia department which the company bought earlier this year. Microsoft plan to cut $600 Million (£350.8m) in costs per year. At this time we are currently unaware if these job cuts wil affect anyone in the UK.

Second up for Microsoft this week, They plan to stop making Android smartphones, (Who even knew they existed?). They are stopping production of Nokia X devices which currently run on Android, to focus on Nokia Lumia devices which run Microsoft's own Windows OS. This move is hardly supprising as Microsoft have sturggled to get into the smartphone industry.

In gaming news this week; All you Call of Duty fans will be saddened to hear that Manuel Noriega is sueing Call of Duty over their Black Ops 2 title from 2012. He is sueing Activision after they based a character on him without his permission. No one knows why he waited so long after the game's release to take legal action.

Finally the Ender Scrolls Online launched Yesterday (Thursday 17th July), however it has been met with some angry and disapointed customers as the steam reviews are mostly negative. The game seems to have angered fans over it's subscription model where you buy the game at full price (£49.99) and then have to buy game time which is £16.99 for 60 days.
